victim-blaming has become a very common phenomenon these days. a lot of outrage was shown when the delhi rape accused, mukesh singh, blamed nirbhaya, the victim for 'getting' raped since she was out of her home late in the night. 
it's time we wake up and realize that respect doesn't stop after 9pm. a woman's choices do not translate into her 'asking for it'.
